Day 13: Iceland’s South Coast

Next, travel inland to Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød, often described as Denmark’s most beautiful castle. You’ll arrive in Flåm in the afternoon, and after a long drive, we thought it was only fitting that you begin with a visit to a local craft bar at the iconic Ægir Brewery & Pub. The pub is styled like a Viking longhouse and is one of the best attractions in Flåm.

Finish with a tour of the Flåm Railway Museum to learn the fascinating story behind one of Norway’s most impressive engineering feats—the Flåmsbana. The museum features historic locomotives and hands-on displays, and your guide will help explain the challenges involved in this project.

Day 20: Nærøyfjord Cruise & Scenic Drive to Oslo
