Days 1-2 – Norway
Days 1-2: Welcome to Oslo
Your journey begins with a relaxed arrival in Oslo, where your private driver-guide will collect you from the airport or your hotel. Day 17: Castle Tour
On day 17, escape Copenhagen for the day for a private day trip through North Zealand, renowned for its grand castles.
Begin with a visit to Kronborg Castle in Helsingør, one of the most famous Renaissance castles in Northern Europe and better known as Elsinore, the setting of Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Explore the grand halls, royal chambers, and eerie underground casemates.
Next, travel inland to Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød, often described as Denmark’s most beautiful castle. Days 18–21: Norway
Day 18: Copenhagen to Bergen
Say goodbye to Denmark as you board the short flight from Copenhagen to Bergen. You’ll be collected by your private guide at Bergen Airport and begin your tour of Norway’s 2nd largest city. Begin with a walking tour of Bryggen Wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Day 19: Scenic Drive to Flåm
Today, leave the coastal city of Bergen behind, making your way toward the breathtaking fjord village of Flåm. Break up the drive with a coffee in the mountain town of Voss and a walk through the picturesque town center.
You’ll arrive in Flåm in the afternoon, and after a long drive, we thought it was only fitting that you begin with a visit to a local craft bar at the iconic Ægir Brewery & Pub. The pub is styled like a Viking longhouse and is one of the best attractions in Flåm.
Finish with a tour of the Flåm Railway Museum to learn the fascinating story behind one of Norway’s most impressive engineering feats—the Flåmsbana. The museum features historic locomotives and hands-on displays, and your guide will help explain the challenges involved in this project.
Day 20: Nærøyfjord Cruise & Scenic Drive to Oslo
Start your day with a cruise through the Nærøyfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for breathtaking views of cliffs and waterfalls. You’ll glide through the still, deep waters on a quiet, eco-friendly electric boat, making the experience both serene and sustainable.
Take a short detour to the Stegastein Viewpoint for breathtaking views of the Aurlandsfjord from a high vantage point. The viewpoint sits 650 meters above the fjord, giving you sweeping panoramic views over the blue water, mountain cliffs, and the charming village of Aurland below.
