Day 1: Arrive in Oslo

Your private guide can collect you from Oslo Gardermoen Airport for a seamless transfer into the city or can pick you up from your accommodation if you have already arrived. Your tour begins with a drive through the city, seeing notable landmarks while your private guide talks you through the day ahead.

Begin with a guided tour of Vigeland Sculpture Park, which features 200 expressive works by Gustav Vigeland. Next is a trip to the Fram Museum, where you can step aboard the famous ship while your guide shares stories of the famous heroes who embarked on expeditions to the North and South Pole.

In the afternoon, your private guide will take you to the “crown jewel” of Oslo, the Oslo Opera House, renowned for its bold architecture. Day 2: Oslo to Flåm – Scenic Drive & Fjord View

You’ll depart Oslo on day 2, relaxing as your driver guide takes you through mountain landscapes and shares stories of Norwegian folklore.

You’ll break up your journey with a stop at Lærdal, a picturesque village nestled along the Lærdalselvi River. Visit the beautifully preserved 12th-century Borgund Stave Church and stroll the charming Gamle Lærdalsøyri (Old Lærdal Town), featuring over 150 protected wooden houses.

Carry on through the Aurlandsfjellet, one of Norway’s designated National Tourist Routes. Arrive in Flåm in the afternoon, starting with a guided tour of the Flåm Railway Museum, where you’ll learn the story of the world-famous Flåmsbana Railway, one of the steepest standard-gauge railway lines in the world.

Day 3: Nærøyfjord & Stegastein Viewpoint

On your 3rd day, enjoy a day trip from Flåm, focussing on exploring the breathtaking fjords in Western Norway.

Begin your day with a guided journey on the Nærøyfjord. Enjoy a thrilling yet intimate ride on a Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB), guided by a local expert who will cruise past waterfalls and wildlife while sharing stories of the fjord’s history.

On your way to Stegastein, take a short detour to Undredal, a scenic village along the Aurlandsfjorden. Visit a local farm to sample the famous brown goat cheese for which the village is renowned, followed by a trip to Undredal Stave Church, a charming small wooden church.

For the highlight of the day, your private guide will drive you up the Aurlandsfjellet Mountain Road to the awe-inspiring Stegastein Viewpoint. This breathtaking platform extends 30 meters out from the mountainside and 650 meters above the fjord. Take in the panoramic views of the Aurlandsfjord, with cliffs dropping into deep blue waters below. It’s the perfect place to quietly enjoy Norway’s breathtaking scenery and an excellent opportunity to get some unique photos with your travel group.

Day 4: Flåm to Bergen – Waterfalls & Hanseatic Heritage

You’ll depart Flåm for the final time, with your private guide taking you through the picturesque Voss region. Stop at the Tvindefossen Waterfall, a 110-meter-high waterfall known for its bridal veil-like appearance. Get some incredible photos while your private guide shares with you the stories of the waterfall’s legendary powers.

Take the short detour up Stalheimskleiva, one of Northern Europe’s steepest roads. Stop at the Stalheim Hotel viewpoint, where you can enjoy panoramic views over the Nærøydalen Valley.

Arrive in Bergen in the afternoon, Norway’s 2nd largest city and a former Hanseatic trading port. Enjoy a walking tour through Bergen, starting at the historic UNESCO-listed Bryggen Wharf. Explore the iconic row of colorful houses that were once home to Hanseatic merchants while your guide shares stories of life in medieval Bergen. After Bryggen Wharf, enjoy a quick snack at the lively Fish Market, where you can try local delicacies and mingle with the locals.

Finish the day by riding the Fløibanen Funicular, taking you to the top of Mount Fløyen. At the summit, enjoy sweeping views over Bergen’s rooftops, harbor, and nearby islands. It’s the perfect end to a fulfilling day.

Day 5 – Return to Oslo (Bergen Railway)
